COMPOSITION WORKSHOP

A workshop to help anyone feel more confident with the composition they are making in the camera. Basic rules of composition will be discussed and we will talk about the difference between rules and creativity.  Guidelines will be trotted out and considered. We will converse on famous photographer Ernst Haas' theory that everyone has an internal "composition key".  Most important of all, we will start you down the road toward trusting your vision and your sense of composition.  Eyes will be opened, and confidence gained. We will even have fun doing it.

As a bonus, Dick will give his full  length summary/talk on composition.  This monologue has been known to extend to nearly a full minute.  You won't need to take notes.

There will be an assignment, and the usual nerve-wracking critique.
